Altour International, No. 13 on Travel Weekly's 2015 Power List, is acquiring Top Flight Travel Management in the U.K. An agreement has been signed and the deal is expected to close by the end of the year.
According to Nigel Parkinson, senior vice president of global sales at Altour, Top Flight will retain its name “for the foreseeable future as they have built a great reputation here in the U.K. market.”
Top Flight’s existing owners, Barry and Maria Baty, as well as their senior management team, will remain in place, Parkinson said. Top Flight is part of the Uniglobe network.
